Schoolchildren raised over $10,000 for the medics of the Defence Forces

On Knowledge Day, Leleka Foundation encouraged schoolchildren and their parents to donate backpacks to field medics instead of giving flowers to teachers. This initiative received strong support from parents and educators, resulting in over $10,000 raised from 20 educational institutions.

Participating schools included Ace School, School No. 170 (Obolon district, Kyiv), Borysfen Lyceum, M'Andryk International School, Primary School No. 311 (grades 1-A, 2-B, 3-A, 4-B), Lyceum No. 88, Financial Lyceum, Lyceum No. 29 (Obolon district, Kyiv, named after Petro Kalnyshevsky), Barefoot on the Grass Kindergarten and School, Lipnykivsky Lyceum (Zhytomyr region), and several others. The initiative also received backing from the Kyiv Department of Education and Science.

With the funds raised, Leleka Foundation purchased 137 backpacks for field medics. When the manufacturer learned that the money was raised by students and their families, they graciously offered an additional discount.
