On March 27, Valeria Pampukha, a Ukrainian who has lived in France for nearly ten years, launched fundraising campaign to support Leleka Foundation.
Her goal is to raise funds to deliver more tactical medical backpacks. Valeria works in the logistics business and also writes books. She has a close connection to Ukraine, which is why, since the full-scale invasion began, she has been running fundraising campaigns.
"Many people can’t raise large sums, but every fundraising effort is important," she explains.

Valeria learned about Leleka and its work through the writers' community, and she was deeply moved by Leleka's mission of helping save more lives. Last December, for her 30th birthday, she initiated her first fundraising campaign for Leleka.
In March, Valeria decided to repeat it. She learned more about Leleka and created materials to support the campaign. This time, Valeria’s mother, Olena Kvyt, is helping her motivate people to donate. Olena, an artist, has contributed one of her artworks to the project. At the end of the campaign, the painting will be raffled off among those who donated.
The fundraising campaign is ongoing, and Valeria encourages everyone who cares about Ukraine to get involved. "I live in France. I have a wonderful life here; everything is fine. But this war affects me as well. And projects like this are my, though small, contribution to victory," she explains. Valeria is confident that after this campaign, there will be another one very soon.
Leleka’s team deeply appreciates Valeria’s help and support. Together, we are stronger.
