Generators for Healthcare Facilities

In late 2022, Leleka Foundation partnered with its long-term collaborators at the YellowBlue Force Foundation to provide electric generators to hospitals across various Ukrainian cities.

Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces have deliberately targeted Ukraine’s power grid, leading to frequent and widespread power outages. In the winter of 2022-2023, the aggressors escalated their attacks with a clear strategy aimed at freezing the Ukrainian population. Ukraine's power generation capacity continues to be systematically destroyed, severely affecting the ability of hospitals and healthcare facilities to operate.

This initiative focused on providing autonomous power generation to hospitals and clinics crucial for the healthcare of Ukrainian civilians, including outpatient services and urgent care.

As a result, we successfully delivered power generators to several hospitals in Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolayiv, Odesa, Kyiv, Novomoskovsk, and Kryvyi Rih, ensuring uninterrupted patient care and the ability to continue providing critical medical services during power shortages.
